Designing a simplified, user friendly and completely digital experience of buying durable medical devices that seamlessly integrates the process of availing its prescription and insurance.
Objective
One of the world’s leading healthcare insurance firms wanted to venture into the business of selling Durable Medical Equipment (DME) directly to patients through a specialty e-com platform in USA. Ask from Designit was to conceptualize and prototype a platform based on their unique offerings and brand positioning.

Approach
Within a short duration of 6 weeks, the team ideated, designed and prototyped solution for a new medical e-commerce platform for mobile, tablet and laptop interfaces.
For quick and effective testing of client’s vision for functionalities and various business integrations on the platform, we followed the following approach:
-
Understanding of current ecosystem of buying DME, brand presence and business objective from client
-
Mapping the personas and selecting 2 distinct use cases for the POC
-
Creating task flows, wire frames and high-fidelity prototyping of the solutions based on UX heuristics and e-commerce best practices
-
Rapid rates of iterations and validation based on client feedback early and often
